Computer Based Training Courses

STCU computer based training program is intended to provide scientists with general and introductory training courses developed for CD-ROM format. The training courses can be delivered through distance learning, explained by a trainer in traditional groups or studied individually.

Modules are designed to cover training needs of scientists on different stages of their projects commercialization and include the following topics: Effective Grant-Writing, Commercialization of Intellectual Property, Turning Good Science into Good Business, Business Planning, Strategy and Management Tools, Marketing, Technology Presentation, etc.

Azeri, Georgian, Moldavian, Ukrainian and Uzbek scientists are already using our training materials on business meetings and negotiations, while writing a business plan, when presenting R&D results, and for other purposes.

The business courses explain final aim of commercialization process and offer a clear plan of actions… (Yanina Mishchuk, Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Kyiv, Ukraine)

The materials were helpful. We used them recently while writing a Business Plan. (Nikolay Mgebrishvili, Georgian Technical University, Tbilisi, Georgia)

I am attending training courses in management of the Open British University LINK. They offer very good business solutions, but often they are not applicable in Post-Soviet countries. The developers of the STCU training courses not only bring the best world practices, but also adjust them to our reality. (Ilkham Sadykov, Institute of Nuclear Physics, Tashkent, Uzbekistan).

Please find Catalogue of training materials here.
